Chief (Dr.) John Agboola Odeyemi is the Obasewa of Ife and Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He was born in Ile-Ife on 4th April, 1939, finished Elementary Education at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School, Ile-Ife in 1954 and later trained as Higher Elementary Teacher at St. Leo's College, Abeokuta between 1956 and December 1959. In 1965 and 1966, as a student on Sandwich course in Accounting at The College of Commerce & Technology, Wednesbury, Staffordshire England, he won the Rubbery Owen Prize, for the "Most Distinguished Student of the Year"; and "Outstanding Performance of the Year" respectively. He is the Chairman and Chief Executive of JKN Limited and JAO Investment Company Limited. He also serves currently on the board of Emzor Pharmaceutical Ltd, Kinley Securities Ltd and Cutler Hammer Nigeria Limited. He served on the Board of a number of other companies and he was the Chairman of Ecobank Nigeria Ltd from September 2006 to March 2010; was Chairman Refuge Insurance Company Limited and Obafemi Awolowo University Investment Company Limited from January 2007 to December 2012. He was also a Director of Oasis Insurance Plc, Multimalt Limited, Sowsco Well Services Limited and Kajola Integrated Investment Company Ltd. He was the Past President of Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Past President of NACCIMA and was Chairman Nigerian Accounting Standards Board 1990 - 1995 and past President, Ife Development Board 1995 - 2004. He was a member of the National Political Reform Conference February - July 2005; Member of the National Privatization Council (Bureau of Public Enterprise) October 2004 - October 2006; Member of the Committee on The Assessment and Monitoring of the Millennium Development Goals - June 2005 - October 2006 and was founding Member of the Governing Board of UNESCO Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation Centre in KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia. He was honoured by the Federal Government of Nigeria as MEMBER OF THE ORDER OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC (MFR) 2005; by Osun State Government with the STATE DISTINGUISHED MERIT AWARD FOR PHILANTHROPY AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT in 2007 and by the ILE-IFE Community with DISTINGUISHED MERIT AWARD in 2008. He was given a Merit Award by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 2005; Awarded Doctor of Science in Business Administration (Honoris Causa) by Obafemi Awolowo University Ife in December, 2007. He was also given a special award by the Federation of Construction Industry for his contributions to the infrastructural development in Nigeria in June 2009 and appointed member of the Council of Oduduwa University, Ipetumodu, Osun State in September 2009. He was conferred Patron of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osun State Council in August, 2010. He was also appointed Patron, Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers Foundation in October, 2011. He is a devout Christian and regular contributor to the promotion of evangelism. He worships at Archbishop Vining Memorial Cathedral Church (AVMCC) in Ikeja. He remains active at his original family church, St Paul Anglican Church, Ayegbaju in Ile-Ife where he was installed as the Ekerin Ijo in 2004 and he is being installed Balogun of the Church on 23rd February, 2014. He constructed and donated Chapel of St. John the Evangelist, the Vicarage and Children Amenity Hall to the Diocese of Ife. He has contributed to major activities and developmental events in the Ife Diocese, Anglican and other Christian churches countrywide. He is a member of Christian Friends Society and Touch Bearers Society of AVMCC, Young Men Christian Fellowship, St. Paul Anglican Church, Ayegbaju, Ife and he is a patron of the following societies: Band of Mercy, Archbishop Vining Memorial Cathedral Church, Lagos, Christian Morning Star Society, Anglican Church of the Pentecost, FESTAC Town, Young men and Women Christian Association, Anglican Church, Oshodi, Prison Fellowship Nigeria, Lagos Chapter. He is a member of The Metropolitan Club, Lagos, Beachland Boat Club, Ife Metropolitan Club, a Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellow.

Our Managing Director is a COREN registered Electrical Engineer, Member Nigerian Society of Engineers(MNSE), Member Nigerian Institute of Management(MNIM). He worked for the then National Electric Power Authority(NEPA), now the privatized Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) and thereafter Mobil Producing Nigeria in the Oil and Gas Sector, before joining James Kilpatrick Nigeria Ltd(now JKN Limited).
He trained as a Power Engineer in Transmission, Distribution and Generation of Electricity. By industrial exposure and additional courses, he became a versatile Engineer in Mechanical and Electrical Services, particularly in residential , commercial and industrial complexes, with Project Management as a specialty. In a career spanning over 45 years, he has participated and managed several projects in all sectors of the Nigerian economy. He was an active representative in the Federation of Construction Industries(FOCI) and retired in 2015 as the Vice President. Now, he is a Member of the Board of Trustees..

Mr. Ogbite Mabiaku is a non-executive director of the company. He has had over 14 years of work experience - 12 of which were in the Oil & Gas Upstream Sector (exploration and production). He is a Health, Safety, Security and environment (HSSE) professional. He currently works at Saturn Ventures Limited - a major project pipelines and matrix department of Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC).

Mr. Mabiaku is a member of various professional associations including:

  • Pipeline Profession Association of Nigeria (PLAN)
  • National Board of Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH)
  • Canadian Society of Safety Engineers (CSSE)
  • Nigerian Institute of Safety Professionals (NISP)

He is a graduate of Edo State University and previously worked in Dependable Scientific Ventures Limited - Forcados-Yorki Integrated Project (FYIP) for SPDC.

Mr. Tunde Odeyemi is a non-executive director of the company. He graduated with an MSc in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. He also has a Masters in Engineering (with Distinction) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bradford and a Bachelors in Engineering (with First Class Honours) in Chemical Engineering with Process Control from the same University.

He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers (NSChE) and Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), Uk.

Mr. Odeyemi currently works at Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC). His professional career has also seen him work at Accenture Nigeria, Harcourt Education and Testline Limited (both in the United Kingdom).

Mrs. Egbarin is a non-executive director of the company. She currently works at Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Limited (SIPML) in Lagos. She is a a member of ICAN and graduated from the University of Lagos with an honours degree in Accounting. Her professional career has also seen her work with Schlumberger Support Nigeria Limited, Akintola Williams Delloitte and Touche as well as Lagoon Home Savings and Loans.

Engr Banjo an Executive Director is a Chartered Engineer,  registered member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and also registered with the Council on the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria.  . He holds a Higher National Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from Yaba College of Technology and Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho respectively before proceeding to have a Masters in Business Administration. Having worked with Cazzo Nigeria Ltd, Acme Construction Company Ltd, Uren Nigeria Ltd and Nigeria National Paper Mill, Iwopin, Ogun State, he joined the company in 1983.

He is an Executive Director. He graduated from Yaba College of Technology in 1988 with HND (Accountancy). A chartered accountant of over two decades post-qualification experience, he has previously worked in G. Cappa Plc and MBSS Limited, both construction companies as well as Dafinone Consulting Limited and Nigerian Institute of International Affairs. He joined the company in 2014.

Mr Odeyemi is a B.Sc(Accounting) degree holder from the University of Lagos and also holds an MSc(Business Finance) from Brunel University, West London, U.K. He has worked with Natwest Bank U.K, De Vere Private Equity Coy, U.K and Fleet Technologies Ltd (a subsidiary of Enterprise Bank) before joining JKN Ltd. He has experience in Accounting, Investment Management, Quality Assurance, Business Development and Product Marketing.
